FAQS
What is therapy?
Therapy is a clinical way to address personal and family issues in a safe and judgement free environment. Therapy can be used to change or accept behaviors or thoughts. Emotions can be difficult and complicated. Therapy allows you to explore them in a safe and effective way.
Why should I go to therapy?
People go to therapy for a number of reasons, including personal development, adjustments to major events, working on self-improvements and growth, or addressing serious trauma and grief. No matter the issue, it can be incredibly beneficial to discuss and process things with a professional therapist.
How long does therapy take?
A therapy session is usually 50 minutes. The number of sessions needed to address and process an issue is different depending on the person and situation.
What does therapy cost?
Every therapist charges a rate that reflects their experience and skill set. I charge $125 for every 50 minute session. This price can be reduced by billing sessions through your insurance. Please see my Grow Therapy provider profile by clicking the “Schedule A Session” button at the top of this page to see if I take your insurance.
What if I have more questions?
Please feel free to call, text, or email me any additional questions. I will be happy to discuss anything related to therapy with you.
